So tonight I say goodnight to Alanna and tomorrow I say good morning to Eleanor.

So next week is my husbands pick and he is picking Eleanor Elizabeth. So what do you think? Wait say this out loud Eleanor Mortimore, now what do you think?

I think Eleanor is a pretty name, though not really my "style"

Is Mortimore your last name? I don't think Eleanor sounds good with the last name, too much rhyming.

I like the name Eleanor Elizabeth, but not with the surname Mortimore. Not a fan of rhyming names.

Not necessarily. Not everyone gets married, and not everyone takes their husband's name. What if she marries someone from Cuba, where tradition is to keep the maiden name? Or what if she HATES her husband's last name? Or what if she doesn't get married until she's like 40? Then she's Eleanor Mortimore for 40+ years? That's not forever, obviously, but it's a good chunk of her life! Plus, the hardest part of life to have a name that rhymes would be elementary and high school, and she's not likely to be married by then.
