We like unique names. They can be made up names or made up spellings. We want them all to start with J and preferably have a Y in them. For boys we have picked Jansyn and Jayden. For girls we picked Janyssa and Jerralyn, but then we thought it would be nice to have both girl names end in A since both boy names end in N. (Of course, we may not end up with 2 of each, but we'd like 2 names of each picked out.) If I didn't already know someone named Janaya whom I don't want to name my baby after, I would consider that. Anyway, that's the type of name I want. Not something super common, and it can be made up. Any ideas?

I hope Joni sees your topic and makes a post. She likes unique names and all her children have/will-have J names. Her daughter is Jordana which goes with one of your themes.

Also, I prefer Jessalyn to Jerralyn. Or, maybe Jadalyn (if you don't have a Jayden).

That's all I can think of this late at night.

None of them have a "y" in them, but I suppose if you want to change the spelling you can.

Hi I didn't read through all the responses, but an awesome name that's legit but rarely used for a girl is Jessamine.
