Search google for "alberta baby names" and click the top hit. You can open PDF documents with the names of every baby boy and girl born in Alberta each year and see how many of them there are. It's a great place for finding unique names and unique spellings.

thanks for that. we live in Alberta. I have been trying to tell my husband that Logan is too common and that we should go with Easton instead. Perhaps this will convince him! But there were still 73 Easton's... but vs. 273 Logan's I think that is ok!

I can't believe how many Avery's there were for girls! And so many different spellings. Interesting! Lauren was less common in 2010. Perhaps that has moved it up on my list!

Alberta has a very very large immigrant population (mostly from Africa, Asia and the middle east) so that could be why.
