Tomorrow we star calling our baby girl Victoria.

It is DH fav name but I have been shooting it down for 6 freaking years. I like the name. My SIL is named Victoria and called Vicky and I have known her about 20 years so she is close enough to associate with the name but not close enough to name baby after.

I think that Victoria is beautiful, but seriously the name Victoria Marie is like a total snooze name. Nothing interesting about it.

My dad always wanted to name me Victoria because it was old fashioned, but classic and I wouldn't have to have a nickname if I didn't want to. In the end they named me Katherine, because of the same reasons. I love my name, but I'm glad I wasn't Victoria. It's NMSAA.

I love Victoria too. Is Marie a for sure mn? Otherwise, you could spice up the name with something fun in the mn.

I don't care for Victoria, personally. I don't like the inevitable nicknames, and I think the name itself sounds mildly pretentious. But that's just me, and I'm always in the minority. My friend's baby is named Gwyneth Victoria.

Marie is a pretty boring middle name, but I don't think it matters much what you pair it with - it'll still be Marie.

I like Victoria. But would use either Victoria or Tori. Not a fan of Vicky.

Not a fan. My name is Sophie Victoria... I've always disliked my middle name.

Hi there, I hope you don't mind me voicing my opinion....I think Victoria would be nice as a middle name. I looked at your name list...how about Eleanor Victoria or Juliet Victoria?

If you're considering Victoria Marie and find the pairing a bit boring, how about Victoria Miriam? Victoria Mirabelle?
