If you don't like the intuitive nicknames that come with a name, it's best to avoid that name. You'll have to be constantly correcting people when they automatically call her Becky or Becca, and she will as well when she's older. And it's very possible that SHE will choose to go by a nickname, and that could happen fairly early. It's just easier to avoid it or use it as a middle name. So, in your situation, I would go with Natalie Rebecca. I don't know if you have a middle name already chosen, but it seems like the best of both to use the name you love AND the name your DH loves.
I have a Rebecca and she goes by Rebecca because I don't like any of the nicknames either. it hasn't been a problem, and if she is called Rebecca 100% of the time right from birth, it will feel foreign to call her anything else. my daughter wouldn't even respond if you called her something else.

I would say Rebecca, as its my name I have always gone by Becca though. I wouldn't use it if you don't like the nicknames, as people automatically use them.

I'm not going to lie, I am very surprised and a little bit sad about how many prefer Natalie over Rebecca
I just think Rebecca is the perfect, most beautiful girl name in the world and nothing compares or even comes close. I picked it out for my future daughter when I was 8, and I feel so lucky that I was able to use it. I think it is so timeless and classic.

I prefer the sound of the name Rebecca, though Natalie is cute, too. I prefer Rebecca over Becca, and dislike Becky and Becks. But, my son's name is Luke, and after four years I'm still trying to get people (even family) to call him LUKE and not Lucas or Lukey (sounds like "puking"). For that reason, I find it unrealistic to pick a name with intuitive nicknames and expect people to never use them. Luke is one-syllable, doesn't have a nickname option, but people still find one. It's ridiculous. I can't imagine trying to get people to not say Becky.
As an other option, the nickname Reba (Ree-buh) is cute, and would work with Rebecca. If you pick a nick name you like for those who insist on using one, then sometimes it's less of a hassle. You still call her Rebecca, but the people who don't care about your wishes have something to call her that you don't hate.
I would say Natalie... as Rebecca is my sisters name. It is hard to steer people away from using nicknames... and your child may like the nicknames that you dislike. Best bet would be to use Natalie.

My opinion is that Rebecca is more timeless and classy than Natalie, although I really do love both names.
I think Rebecca has more substance. Think of your daughter when she is in her 30's and 40's. Rebecca seems like someone who could win a nobel prize. Natalie sounds like a college co-ed.
I hope that does not offend anyone! I really do like both names. I just think Rebecca has more weight.
