So how would you spell the name pronounced: An-neek?

I was thinking either Annique or Annik... Any better ideas or preferences?

Annek, perhaps?

What is the original spelling of the name, or is it something you made up?

I don't like Annique. Looks like you're trying too hard. I'd be more inclined to pronounce Annik as an-nick. Though ah-nee-kah is spelled Annika.

Oh, I like Annique. It reminds me of Dominique, so I would be likely to pronounce it as Aneek. It's a beautiful, feminine spelling as well.

I had an acquaintance in Holland when I was living in Germany and her name was Annique, but I was worried that Americans would pronounce it wrong.

Annique is fine, especially if it's a French name? Dominique isn't unheard or over here, and there's the word unique, both of which would lead me to automatically pronounce Annique the way you want it.

I think Annique would be pronounced the way you want it to be. Annik on the other hand I think would be pronounced an-nick

I agree, Annique is very pretty. Does look a little bit like Antique though.
