A friend if mine just revealed this name for her baby due in September. The full name will be Adele Theresa (pronounced ter-A-sa, as opposed to ter-EE-sa). Thoughts? I'm not sure what I think yet.. I find it refreshing at least.

I think Adele is a nice name, and at least different from the trends right now without being too too out there. I like it though it's not really my style. Love the middle name however and fully intend to use it on my first daughter! Although I plan to pronounce it Ter-ees-a.

Love Adele! So classic. Teresa is NMS, but it goes well with Adele! I just can't get over how beautiful that name is!

I agree. I love Adele, but Teresa is nms, although I think they flow nicely together. I like that it's something different though. Very pretty.

I like both Adele and Theresa individually, and I love that combination!

Adele seems like it might be getting more popular (it just entered the top 1000 in 2010, though it's nowhere near being really popular). It's the name of a famous singer and is similar to popular names like Adeline, Addie, Ella, Ellie, and Isabel.

It is cute and it sounds great with the MN! I do have a bad association of the name Adele through one of my favourite TV shows though.

I love this name! We have it on our list for baby girl # 2 (if there ever is one) we would spell it Adelle or we might go with Adella.

Short for Adeline, which I love, and much prefer. Theresa is nms.
