I'm interesting in whether you prefer this name (or any spelling of it) for a boy or girl? My nephew is Harley, so I see it as more of a boys name... however... I know three other Harley's/Harleigh's and all of them are girls. WDYT?

I see a lot of older girls called Harley/Harleigh/Harlee here. But I think these days there are a lot more boys with the name. We used to have friends with a son called Harley

I'm not really a fan of this name in any spelling, but I see it as more of a boy name than girl.

It belongs to the girls now, even though it was originally boy. I don't like it on kids at all, though.. it's cute for golden retrievers, though!

I like it better on boys.

My brother has a friend named Harley. But i know two little girls named Harleigh and they are adorable!!! But the strongest association just because of the amount of time I spend there is my MIL's Siberian husky who's name is Harley

I think I see it more as a girl now but not my style at all, though it's alright on someone else's kid.

I'm not a big fan of the name, even though I did give it to my dog 8.5 years ago (boxer mix- looks like Scooby Doo)! She's a girl, by the way. I can see it on either gender, don't really have a preference.

Much better on boys! I know a Harley and I've just always seen it on a boy!

Although, his granddaughter's name is Harlow, after him and I thought that was really neat. Harlow is definitely girly!

My neighbors just named their male Boxer puppy Harley!

It's not common around where I live. I still think of it as a boys name.
