I am thinking about naming my little girl Auburn Leigh - wdyt??? I want something different but not weird. Also, my name is Ginger so I thought it would be kind of cool for us both to have a name that means or refers to "redheaded"...even though I am not and I doubt she will be. Thanks for your opinions.

Hmm. I'm not sure. I know a little boy named Auburn, so it's hard to imagine it on a girl.

How about Audrey Leigh?

Other suggestions-

Ruby
Scarlett
Sienna
Penelope "Poppy"

Auburn is very interesting. I am on the fence. I like it, but I am not convinced. I think it would go great with Ginger though! That is cute!

I like the fact that you two would have similar names, I'm just not sure it's my favorite name for a little girl. If you like it though...I'm sure she'll be beautiful! I love the middle name though!

Auburn is this town by where I used to live, so that's my association though it's not horrible. If you want a name honoring 'red' there are these:

Admina
Amber
Rory
Cerise
Candice
Adorlee

Scarlett, Ruby and Sienna are awesome too!

Hmm.. I've never heard it before, but I think it's really cute. The other ladies gave great suggestions for other "red" names - I like Amber and Sienna, too.

Rowan means little red headed one.

Auburn sounds pretty, but written down the BURN really sticks out to me.

Hmm, I don't really care for it. I like the idea though. I think I would go with some of the other great choices listed above. Of those my favorites would be Rowan or Ruby.

I think it's cute and would consider it on my name list but the city right next to us (and where DH's works) is Auburn so I know my DH would never go for the name.

Hmm I think it's ok. . . I would never consider it on my own child but I wouldn't be shocked to hear it on someone else's child.
I agree with Erica, I like Audrey Leigh
Also, cute idea about you both having matching names relating to having red hair, but if neither one of you have red hair it's kind of unnecessary.

Auburn is a great choice, and I love how it sounds with sister Tatum! I'm not sure I like the flow w/ Leigh as a mn though? It seems to run together. Plus, I'd pair it with something more feminine -

Auburn Sophia
Auburn Faith
Auburn Penelope
Auburn Kate
Auburn Isabelle
Auburn Felicity
Auburn Whitney
Auburn Olivia
Auburn Calista
