I came across it the other day, and added it to my list. I also threw it out in the Celebrity This or That to see what ppl thought.

It means 'dark eyed' which I like as all of my kiddos have super dark brown eyes, literally can hardly see the pupils in my boys.

nn Sulli, or Van?

I like it. Makes me think of Newsies. I probably wouldn't shorten it personally, but I prefer Van to Sully. I think Sully works for a little kid, but Van is better when he's older.

Prefer the nickname Sully...

I really like it. For a boy. I recently saw someone wanted to name their DD this. I can't really see it as a girl's name so much.

Big fan. Wanted to use it for my kiddo but Dh wasn't feeling it. Sigh... I like both nicknames but Sully has a special place in my heart.
