It's cute.To me though, Lainey sounds more like a nn than a first name

I really adore lainey, I think it's super cute.
But, I don't like how Jane flows with it- they have the same "A" sound which blends it all in my head.
Congrats to your friend!

It's cute but i dont really care for the repeating long A followed by an N sound. And I prefer Lainey as a nn for Delaney or Alaina.

Cute but not my style. One of my best friends is named Elayne and we call her Lainey.

I think it's really cute! But I also see it as more of a nn and would have done the full name Delaney.

It's cute, but I agree with PP, it sounds like a nn.

Too rhyme-y. The whole thing put together sounds like a nickname.

I think of Lainey more as a nickname, plus Lainey and Jane kind of match. Though it is cute!

It's cute but as others have stated. I think it sounds more of a nn if anything.

Cute, but almost too cute. Hard to picture and adult with that name.

I love the name Lainey (obviously) but I think Jane is a little too rhyme-y
