I know it's pretty popular these days, being 227 when you don't factor in all the incorrect unique spellings, but since my husband is a drummer, I thought it was kinda cute for us. Thoughts? How does it sounds with Luke, Lauren, and Heidi?

Oh, and I would spell it Cadence. Any other spelling is unacceptable. And it's for a girl, which seems self explanatory I would think, but I've seen it used on boys so figured I'd clarify.

I really like Cadence, and I tend to steer away from popular names. I think it goes well with your childrens names

I love it! So cute with Luke, Lauren and Heidi. Unique enough that she's her own person, but still sounds amazing with the sibset. I absolutely love this choice....and the spelling!

I highly dislike Cadence but more because of a personal association than a strong dislike for the name which just isn't my style.

I probably wouldn't use it myself, but I do like it and think it sounds great with your other kids names.

I love it. I think it goes great with your kids names and it isn't actually that popular.

If you combine all the more common spellings, it would put it somewhere around number 68 on the SSA list. Not exactly, because names above 68 move around too, but definitely within the top 100. Which doesn't really matter that much to be, since Luke and Lauren are both in the top 100 also.

I guess I'm more concerned with the "trendy" factor. I'm somewhat turned off by the fact that are at least four "common" ways to spell it - Cadence, Caydence, Kadence, and Kaydence, plus some random interjections of Kaidence, Kadynce, etc. I usually write these sorts of names off at the start, but I have a soft spot for the drum cadence, I guess.

the name is just ok to me, alittle too trendy imo but I think it does sound nice with your children's names and I like the meaning for your family
