I like the name! I'm a fan of adding silent H's to names to make them a little different. lol but I think it's really cute!

I like it too, and think it would be easy to pronounce off the first spelling

I like it. It's different but not way out there. I like having the "h" in the spelling, to me it gives it a more feminine look.

I think it's such a cute name! Not too different, but she'll definitely be the only one in her class! I like Kaleesi, but I also like the spelling Kaleesy, I'm a huge fan of names ending in "y". Also, I prefer Kaleesy Tytania. Pretty!

I'm really a fan of weird names, so of course I have to like this one. I would stick with the original spelling, since that's the inspiration.

I like the Khaleesi spelling best out of all of them, while it's not really my style (as I'm notably super traditional on names for the most part), I think it suits you and your DH, Kendra, and your interests very well and it's not too out there! I like it and I think it's cool you don't hear it everyday!
I like Khaleesi Tytania

It has a pleasant sound. If it were me, I would leave out the 'h'.

Congrats on your pregnancy!
So the name Khaleesi itself is to me equivalent to naming someone Queen. (Since that's what it means. ). Now, I'm personally considering Arya and Daenerys..

Personally, I'm not a big fan of titles as names. It doesn't matter so much to me that it means queen, as it does that it's just a word for queen and not a person's name.
That being said, I'd keep the normal spelling. Kalyca looks too much like kah-like-uh, and I think it would be very confusing.

I think it's a pretty name. Having read the books over and over I'm not sure I could use it for a child, but that's me. The Khal part just sticks out too much for me, but if you're going to use a nickname that shouldn't matter. Plus, most people won't know where it came from. But of course I'm not one to talk since I have an Arya. I'd seen that name before reading his books and loved it, but the Arya character sort of made the name stick for me. My dare devil, independent child totally lives up to the name despite not being named after the character.

Oh man do I feel OLD. I am going to give a decenting vote. I like to look at a name and know how to say it. Thus I also believe if you are using a Gaelic spelling of a name you should live in Ireland. That said since I haven't read the book or watched the show the name looks completely foreign to me. I would have a hard time reading and since I have bad hearing I would probably need you to be kind and forgiving as I mispronounced your childs name multiple time.
If you are up to being kind and forgiving then use it. The worst thing in the world is people who have unusual names who are very pithy when you mess them up. Also teach your daugheter to be gracious in correcting those around her. I honestly want to say her name correctly but I cannot make any promises.
Good luck!

Watch the show and read the books While I think its a pretty name Id worry that it would turn into something like "everyone naming their daughter Bella for Twilight" as in every time you tell someone her name they say "oh did you name her after Game of Thrones?"
I think this name has the potential to turn popular..actually I think a lot of the names on that show have that potential because they are different/unique/pretty/cute ect and I think its going to be a very popular show.
