I've got 3 kiddos, somewhat by coincidence they all consist of 5 letters and include a double letter. We are expecting our 4th and wonder if we should stick with the pattern. Their names are as follows...

Kaylee
Dallin
Alyssa

These are names we are thinking of.

BOY
Wyatt
Collin
Bennett
Dallas
Oliver
Hudson
Sawyer
Cole
Carson

GIRLS
Addalyn
Elle
Ellie
Hannah
Ava
Kendall
Emma

What do you think? Any other names?

I'm super anal so I'd have to use another double-letter name if it were me.

I love Collin and Sawyer out of your boy names. Hannah, Elle and Ava are my favorites from your girl names.

I think keeping with the double letter would be good, but not necessarily something the general public would ever notice. If it bugs you, you should keep on with the double letter, if not and you like another name sans the double letter better, you should definitely choose that.

If you find a name that has double letters that you really want to use, that would be great, but I don't think you need to limit yourself by ONLY considering names with double letters. It's not something most people will notice, and I'd rather use a name I love than one I don't like as much because it fits the theme.

That being said, I like Wyatt, Bennett, and Hannah.

More names with double letters:

Adrienne
Anna
Annabel/Annabella/Annabelle
Annika
Bella
Bettina
Brenna
Camilla/Camille
Cassandra
Charlotte
Corinne
Ella
Ellen
Emmeline
Gabriella/Gabrielle

Julianna/Julianne
Juliette
Kenna
Lillian
Linnea
Lucienne

Marcella
Rebecca
Rhiannon
Rosalynn
Roxanne
Savannah
Scarlett
Summer
Sunniva
Susanna/Susannah
Tallulah
Vivienne

Aaron
Barrett
Cassian
Cassius
Conall
Connor
Elliot/Elliott
Emmanuel
Everett
Finn
Isaac
Jesse
Kenneth
Maxwell
Ross
Thaddeus
Tyrell

No, I don't think you have to use another double letter name... it's most important to use a name you love!

from your list I like:
Bennett
Dallas
Oliver
Sawyer
Cole

Elle
Hannah

I don't think it's necessary at all. This child will have their own identity and therefore, can have a unique name. My favorites on your list are Kendall and Hudson, they sound great with your sibset!

I don't think your kids are going to grow up and say "Man, mom didn't give me a name with double letters like my siblings, she must not love me." I seriously doubt it ever gets a second thought other than a mere observation.

I dont think the double letter theme is too strong. You could use any name you like and I dont think it would stand out if it doesnt have a double letter.

That being said, I wouldnt use Collin or Dallas, they are too close to Dallin for me.

I love Collin, Carson and Hudson for a boy and Kendall, Ellie and Ava for a girl.

I don't think the patern is so noticable that you "have" to keep it going if it's not important to you. I think it'd be cool to incorporate if you can find a name (like Collin for example) that you love and fits the mold, but I wouldn't force it if you love a name that doesn't fit that criteria.

Thanks for the input. As much as I don't think it really matters. I think in the end it will really bother me, if,I don't do a double letter. I also like the name Berklee for a little girl
