Ok i might be a completel retard but how do you put punctuation in a name?

One of my JM friends is naming her daugheter Chloe witht eh dots over the E and when ever she writes it she has the dots.

My daughter's middle name is Toney (accent over the E rhymes with Reneee)

My last name is a McBLA BLA last name and I'd like to write it with the hanging C underlines. We are thinking about naming this baby McKayla. But I want to write it with the C and the underline.

You use alt codes. Hold down the alt key and type certain codes on the number pad (not the numbers at the top of the keyboard, the ones on the right side). Such as, my husband has an accent in his name, and I type it by holding down the alt key and typing 0233, which makes Geramé.

Here is the list of alt codes. Windows Alt Key Codes

testing Quinn Tonéy (copy and pasting your é)

fÀilte

Tonéy

Ok the simple code you gave didn't work as I am on a lap top with no keypad so I found the HTML Entity Codes. which in this name is ton é y (minus the spaces.)

I am still looking for the proper way to Type Mc !!!! AHHHH

I don't think there is a special character for C with a line under it, but I might be wrong!

After looking at Irish Obituaries all day I am starting to agree. The only difference I found was when the whole name is typed in capital letters the c is a baby letter. McKAYLA but other than that I haven't seen any typed agjustment to Mc names. Not even McKayla. I think the only place i see the Mc is the sticker on my medical records chart.
