Sunday when we were doing the obligatory Nicole reading names from a name book and Wayne immediately vetoing everyone of them DH did it... be backed himself into a corner. He asked me the question that should never pass a mans lips "what would you name the baby is I wasn't involved?"
ZINNIA. OK that is not exactly true but I was pithy that vetoed it when I wanted to use it for my pick.
So this week we are calling baby Zinnia and Wayne picked a middle name for it too and he has really been trying to saying it and use it.
Marie because my mom's name is Marilyn Ann and his mom's name is Mary Ann, and Marie is a family middle name on his father's side of the family. (concession anyone?)
Looks like the feild consists of:
Alanna Alanna Elizabeth or Alanna Nicole
Possible middle names are Elizabeth, Nicole, and Marie
And we are still looking!!!!!!! TWENTY-FOUR DAYS LEFT!!!!
First choice was Penelope Nicole, but what happens if everyone calls her Penny? Penny Nicole? Second choice is Nora, but it doesn't really go with the middle names... Nora Penelope?
Right now Scarlett's says Penelope "Ilovepee" which my DH is not digging. My 10 YO daughter got is right she blithely pointed out "That a stupid reason not to use it, She'll grow" Out of the mouths of babes.
I agree that you should probably be careful about the Penelope Nicole combo just because of the Penny Nicole idea. My little sister's name is Nicole Rae and when she was little she would tell people her name was NickleRae (combine the two, but sounded like she was saying Nickle, so now we call her that as a nickname. lol)
I really like Nicole as a middle name and love the Tessa Nicole. I think that sounds pretty. I like Zinnia alright, but I kind of think it is a little much, or just NMS.
