I've seen it in a book. I think it's okay - a little obviously related to love, and kindof reminds me of the word amulet. It's not my style, but I don't mind it.

If it's pronounced Ah-mor-ette I don't care for it. If it's pronounced Ah-mer-ay I quite like it. I would probably spell it phonetically, but it's nice! And I'm pronouncing "Ah" as in basket, class, drag, etc.
