I prefer the spelling Alistair (I've never seen this name spelled the same way consistently, so I don't really think it has a 'normal' spelling) and it is going to be part of our next son's middle name. I love it so much.

two words. Harry Potter. Alistor Moody. lol But I do prefer the AIR spelling to OR.

I'm neither here nor their about it. But I immediately think of Harry Potter.

I love this name, and the Harry Potter connection doesn't bother me. I'd be in trouble if it did, because HP has a lot of Latin names that I happen to really like.
