My first two sons are named Dane and Luke. If we have another boy, I definitely want another one syllable name. William or Joseph will be the middle name. I'm leaning towards a one syllable name if we have a girl, also, but I'm not set on that. Her middle name would be Elisabeth.

What one syllable boy and girl names do you like?

Thanks! Brynn is actually on a very short girls list for me.

I like Jake, but my future BIL and my BFF's little boy are named Jacob/Jakeb.
My niece is Reese, so Rhys is out.
My nephew's mn is Mark.
I like Jane, but it rhymes with Dane.

Naming a person is hard work!

Keep 'em coming!

I'm using the name Elizabeth and pairing it with Claire. (But ours will be Elizabeth Claire, not vice versa.) I love those two together.
My son's name is James and I really like it. So far, no one in his classes or daycares with the same name and it had family sentiment behind it. I agree, naming is SO TOUGH!
Good luck and great replies, ladies!!!

You girls are good!!! It stinks that there are so many names that I like that are off limits bc someone else is already named that, or it rhymes, or it has a bad connotation!

Clare Elisabeth is on my list! So is...
Brynn (LOVE it, but not sure about pairing it with Elisabeth)
Audrey Elisabeth (I know...not one syllable)

I'm much better at boy names! I like...
Chad William
Cole William
Kyle Joseph
Reed William
Miles/Myles Joseph
Gabe William
Will (instead of William for a mn, but I can't think of a middle name that goes well with Will???)

I liked Brock until I had my four year old say the name today, and he pronounces it like "Barack." I'm not trying to name my kid after the president.

I'm definitely jotting some of these other names down also.
It must be harder to come up with names the more kids you have! This is tough!!!
