We keep getting stuck on a middle name. Our first is due dec 7th. Her first name will be Elinor after SO's mom. Her last name will start with a W.
First idea was Helena after my grandmother but then I realized it is just a variant of Elinor. I also keep thinking of other E names but then her initials will be EEW.
Any suggestions?

My great grandmother's name was Eleanor Viola, so "Viola" is the first name that pops into my head. (Not that I'm recommending that! I don't really like it.. )

Elinor Amelia
Elinor Alise (like Elise with an A to avoid the "EEW')
Elinor Kate
Elinor Katherine
Elinor Paige
Elinor Louise

Ob I do like viola! I thought about Elise before too by spelling it with an A is a good idea.
Thank you for some suggestions!

Going off the fact that she'll most likely be a December baby...

Elinor Noelle W.
Elinor Snow W.
Elinor Joy W. (already suggested, love it!)
Elinor Holly W.
Elinor Neve (Neve is Latin for 'snow')

And one not December related...just a name I love (and it means 'happy')

Elinor Blythe

I love your suggestions! Elinor Blythe is great and the december themes are great.

To piggyback off that idea...

Elinor Winter and Elinor Holiday both have cute rings to them.

You've got some really great suggestions! Of the ones listed I really love:

Elinor Alise
Elinor Kate
Elinor Paige
Elinor June
Elinor Rose
Elinor Mae
Elinor Grace

Have you narrowed them down at all? That can help the options seem less overwhelming sometimes. Best of luck on the last few weeks of your pregnancy!

I've been trying to narrow them down but it is so hard! I will like a group of names a lot one day then change my mind. It doesn't help that SO just says that's ok when I read them to him.
There are a lot of really good suggestions on here and even some that I already had on my list. It is good to have some input!
