Thanks. And I wanted to upload more photos, but my husband is a neurotic. That's why I don't have any photos of the kids in my signature, and I almost didn't get to upload a picture of Fran. Matter of fact, I have the same picture in color, but he turned it b&w and played with the contrast and shading. I'm not that good a photographer, but that shows what I have to put up with
Thank you We were on our way home from a Christmas party and a car full of drunken kids ran a redlight and hit us. They hit on the driver's side and I was riding passenger, but it jarred me so that my neck snapped and my head hit the window. Francesca was fine, but the excitement caused her heart rate to speed up. And though she was born 3 weeks early, she weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz.
I was going to compliment your photography skills until I read your second post . I'm going to have fun convincing DH to let me upload a pic of my baby next month too. She's very pretty and she has such an elegant name! Can I ask, why did you choose two middle names?
No, she didn't come into this world the way any of us hoped (or dreamed), but she came and she's healthy and beautiful. Recovery has been a job in itself for both of us. Francesca has two middle names because neither DH or I would back down on our favorite choices. He's wanted Vivienne ever since I mentioned it because his maternal Grandma was Viviana. You all made me fall in love with Francesca Joy, so that's what I was pushing for (plus she was supposeded to be a Christmas baby, so it fit). Neither Francesca Vivienne or Francesca Joy sounded complete, so we gave them both to her. It's quite a name for such a little thing, but she'll grow into it
I have to add that I'm impressed with how much Farrah has helped me this time. When Callie was born 20 months ago I would have to beg her to keep the baby entertained while I catnapped. With DH working all day and me sore and drowsy it's difficult for me to take care of Francesca, so not only has Farrah played with her, she changes her and puts her to sleep without me having to ask. Earlier today I asked her to check on the baby and she says, "She's asleep. I gave her a bottle and put her in her crib fifteen minutes ago."
