We are going to start TTC this month after we lost our son to encephalocele while in my 2nd trimester. So I have been tossing names around in my head.
Our daughter is Kennedy our son in heaven is Carter. So I feel like we should stick with the theme even though we didn't mean for the president last names to be a theme.
Do you think it would be silly?
For both my pregnancies Nixxon was on our boy name list since it is so close to my maiden last name. I still love it. Even for a girl.
Would Nixxon, Carter and Kennedy be to much?

Just personally I wouldn't use the name Nixon because a lot of people have a bad association with Richard Nixon's name/presidency- Watergate, Vietnam, resignation from presidency etc. If that doesn't bother you I guess you should go for it!
There's always:
Lincoln
Pierce
Grant
Arthur
Harrison
Theodore

I like it because it is so close to my maiden name. It was my maiden name at one time and then the o n was dropped. To be honest I don't know much about Nixon, Carter or Kennedy for that matter
I like Pierce!! Adding it to my list.. Thanks

Honestly, I just LOVE the names. I think the presidential "theme" is a subtle one and it's not cheesy IMO like some other themes. Plus, the names are cool and modern and unique... that is what sticks out more to me, rather than them being names of presidents.
I don't think people will see your son/daughter if you named him or her "Nixxon" and think "Oh my gosh, really? Watergate, c'mon!! VIETNAM!" I also love that it has family meaning.
All in all, I think individually they will all have really cool names. Yeah, if you say all of their names together most people will get the "president" connection... but I don't think it would be weird or too much

I like Nixxon. I do think it would be a good either gender name, too.. However, if you have another after or even a surprise baby, naming would be even more difficult

I like it! When you say Kennedy, I'm sure people don't say, "Oh, C'mon, Bay of Pigs!?" So, Nixxon is GREAT, and with that added X, it kind of removes it a hair, ya know?
I've always like Reagan for a girl
I think just about every president has some little mark on the presidency, albeit Nixon may ring up greater images... it was so long ago that by the time she's in high school, the kids and maybe teachers won't have much personal association with it.

So glad you guys are TTC again. we miss you in our DDC.
I think you should go with any name you LOVE! I wouldn't care what anyone else thinks.
I'm sure people laugh about my kids having unisex names (and #3 will too), but I could care less.

Reagan is my favorite unisex Presidential baby name. I also like Lincoln (For a boy only)
Nixxon isn't my favorite...not b/c of President Nixon, just because I don't like the sound.
Good luck TTC! I know it's stressful after a loss. Best wishes!

Almost forgot - another 'girl' Presidential name I've really been liking lately is Quincy (Pres John Quincy Adams).
Monroe is becoming more popular for girls too.
Then there is always Taylor.
GL!

I think Nixxon, Carter and Kennedy would be ADORABLE for a sibset - and they sound great together!
I'm not too familiar with US presidents, so can't really give my two cents worth... but I do like Lincoln.. and think Lincoln, Carter and Kennedy sound cute together

I actually really like a lot of the Presidential names for baby names. Most of them have already been mentioned, but I say go for it! I think it's a really cute theme...and I'm typically not one for themes

I love the name Reagan so much but hate that it was used in the exorcist.
I agree that with time more people will forget and I like adding another x to the name

I miss you guys sooo much too.
Thanks we were going to try this month but now we are waiting one more month until we get all our testing back. I just want to make sure baby is healthy this time.
Thanks I need to not care so much what people think!! So far only one person made a comment about both the kids having a president name.

Wow I had no idea Quincy was a president too... It was on our girl name list this last time.
I liked it because it was 7 letters and ended in Y like my daughters name. Now I like it even more

I love Harrison for a boy, and for a girl perhaps you could go for Reagan?
Good luck TTC, I have no personal experience but my brother and sister in law were stressed to the max during the year it took for them to conceive with Owen, so i hope you don't go too insane xD.

My friend has a daughter named Reagan. I think that would fit better.
