I don't mind Rowan, but if its pronounced Rone then I don't care for it.

I think it's pronounced Roan like Sloan. I saw it in my baby names book, so I'm not exactly sure, ha ha. I think Rowan is pronounced "Row-in" and that's a unisex name, like Brooke Shields' new daughter.

I'm with the others....I like it better if it's pronounced Rowan.
Not sure I like Roan........like "sloan"

I love it pronounced either way, especially Roan, and I think it's perfect for a mom named Gwen. It also brings the name Rory to mind.
