I don't think it's overly popular....I don't know if I would use it personally but I like it...I really don't like the trend of using it on a girl though, it seems like a very masculine name to me!

Yes it is (here at least). I hear the name everytime Im out and about. It is my nephews name. I think its cute, but just too popular for my taste.

I'm just not a big fan of the name. Reminds me of a dill pickle. I think it is getting a little too popular.

i voted yes b/c i see it on here all the time.. i don't know anyone in real life named dylan.. i don't know many children though...

I have chosen to name my son, if it's a boy, Dylan. I don't think it's too popular. I don't know anyone by that name, and I have always liked it.

I don't think it's overused. Its been moderately popular for a couple decades now, but not so popular that you meet too many. I don't like it for a girl. I'm treally tired of boys names on girls, can't wait for that trend to die - the selection of "definitely boy" names is dwindling!

I only know 1 little boy named Dylan, but it's one of those names that's always popular to some degree like James or Michael.

I only know one Dylan, and that is a 7 year old girl... so I say go for it if you like it!
