WDYT and how would you spell it? I would be using it as a MN so i don't want it to be too long.

Wouldn't that be pronounced differently? "line" vs "lyn"? Those are two different names to me.
I love the name. I think I'd spell it just as you have it here!

Ditto. I was confused on what pronunciation was being discussed

I like it but wouldn't use it. There's tons of the variation popping up in my area.

Yeah, it really depends on how you want it pronounced. If "aduh-leen", then I like the spelling Adeline. If "aduh-lyn" (like Marilyn), then Adelyn is fine.

Love it!
Our friends have a daughter 2 months older than my son named Adalyn. I like that spelling the best too. Seems the most straight forward way to pronounce it.

I think it's beautiful and I'd spell it the way you did in the thread title.

Technically, Adaline would be pronounced "Ada line" but there are so many girls named Madeline who pronounce it "Madelyn." So I think it would likely be pronounced Adelyn by people regardless.
