I ran across this name tonight and DH and I both kind of like it, but I'm not really sure how much I like it. What I like about it is that I love the nn Ben. Also, DH and I both have first names that start with the letter B, and my maiden name is Henson. So, it's like Henson with a B, which honors both DH and my name in a way. What do you think of this name With Jillian and Lucy? What on syllable middle names go well with Benson? Benson Dean? Benson Reed? Benson Luke?

An alternative that I really like is Bennett. Do you prefer Bennett over Benson?

I kind of like Reed better as a middle name. I have to agree with Aillidh; Bennet sounds better, and I think it goes well with Reed as well. But make sure you read the name options out with your last name. That can really change the way it sounds.

We have Bensen on our list I really like both names (DH said no to Bennett). I think Benson flows better with your last name, both sound good with Jilly and Lucy

I still like both names, and so does DH. I'm just confused.. lol

Kelli, Brandon's middle name is Lee (and so is mine, but mine is spelled Lea). He suggested Lee as a middle name, but I don't know if I like it or not. He does for sure. Benson Lee sounds better than Bennett Lee, I think.

I would LOVE to name my son after my father, but he had a horrible name. Doyle Eugene. He was named after his father and went by Junior, though. My mom saddled my poor brother with the name, too, but he goes by Trey. I think that name has been played enough..

I LOVE Benson Grey and Benson Dean. I like Benson Levi, too, but I want to stick with one syllable for a middle name. Lucy would have been Levi, had she been a boy.

D'oh! It just clicked in my head that Tom Benson is the owner of the New Orleans Saints. NOLA is my home town and we're moving bck there this summer and we're staying there for good. I think everyone there would automatically connect the name Benson with the Saints. Not sure how I feel about that
