I wouldn't name my child Huck. I would be okay with my husband calling the boy Huck much in the way you'd call a child "Buddy," though.

I'd be alright with Huck as a nickname but not as a first name. It sounds really country to me. Also Huckleberry Finn.

Huck is NRMS, but it's cute. I think those short, 1-2 syllable boy names are "in" and so I think Huck is fine as a given name.

I think one of Brad Paisley's sons is Huck, if I am remembering correctly. I think it's very country, kinda like Colt.

I just imagine he might be made fun of with the word his name is rhymed with.

Not a fan. We call ds Huck as a joke sometimes because he likes to run around barefoot - even in 50 degree weather - so we joke that he's Huckleberry Finn.

I like it! I am not sure if I would use it, but if we lived in the right region, it would be on my short list.
