WDYT of the name Reilly for a boy?

I prefer it as a last name only... but if a first name, I'd much rather it be on a male than a female. It's just too masculine, in my opinion, for a girl.

This is my opinion for the most part too. I met a little girl named Ryleigh though and that kind of grew on me though it's not my style.

My sister in law is considering using Reilly if she's having a boy because that was her last name before marrying my brother. I thought that was a cool idea and Reilly's growing on me now!

I actually prefer it for a girl, spelled "Rylie" or "Rylee". Reilly is the same spelling as a friend's last name, so I'm not as fond of it. But I do like the name itself.

Totally don't mind it if it's a family name! I gave my son my maiden name (Scott) as his second middle name.

I wish I could do that with my maiden name I really like the idea of using it as a first name but it's super-Gaelic Irish surname that means Warrior and it doesn't really look or sound like a name at all.
