Boy's Name Help

DH and I have chosen a girl's name: Elizabeth Kaelyn.

We're now working on a boy's name. I absolutely love the name Micah and want that for the first name. DH is willing to have that as the middle name, but I'm stubborn and want it as the first name. DH is being equally stubborn and wants the first name to be Logan or Lucas (neither of which I'm very fond of). These names are our short list and I'm feeling like we're hopelessly deadlocked. I'm not a fan of many boy's names so it's so frustrating to me that the one boy name I love is getting continuously vetoed.

I'd love name suggestions. DH won't go for any names that he can't figure how how to spell just by hearing it.

Um yeah pray for a girl... my husband and I just went through something simular and it went all the wayuntil we filled out the papers right before leaving the hospital and I am still pissy over losing the name battle.

That said I love Micah so i am in your corner.

I'm not "allowed" Micah or Michael either.

My DP and I have a few names that one of us loves but the other doesn't even like, and honestly, I feel the best thing to do is to cast those names aside. It wouldn't be fair for one to get their way and the other not. If he won't cast aside, then you could compromise by having Micah Logan or Logan Micah both as middle names and find a first name you both at least like.

Names that would go with either/or of them? Another 2-syllable/5-letter one maybe?

Thanks! We just found out yesterday that we're having a boy, so the discussion continues! I'm a teacher and had some bad experiences with Aiden's so that's out, but I'll take some of the other suggestions to him.

Lady, I told him we could name the baby Michael and I could use Micah as a nickname, but he won't go with that either. He's fine with Micah as the middle name. I just don't want to be a person who names her baby a name when she intends on calling her child by the middle name.

Nicole, that's such a devious plan!!
