We are team green and have pretty much determined our boy name - Cameron Jacob. DH and I have FINALLY tentatively decided on our girl name...
Adeline because we actually both like it!!! My concern is that it will be mispronounced. We like "Ah-Duh-Line", but could see it being pronounced as "Ah-Duh-Lene", "Ah-Duh-Lynn", "Ah-Da-Line" and so on and so forth.
Grace is my confirmation name....we wanted to use part of my middle name (Lynn-Marie...yes, I am a product of the 80's!) but neither of those work that well, so opted to go for my confirmation name. I also like Rose, but that's my sister's confirmation name, who we are likely asking to be the godmother. That would be a bit of an overload honouring her, and Adeline Rose almost sounds like a grandmother name (I think?)
Need some opinions on spelling/pronunciation when you see that name.
Also any other suggestions for middle names....I'm not too fussy about passing on my confirmation name, I just have always loved the name Grace.
I can see Adeline getting pronounced wrong. Plus, I can see it getting shortened to Addie. I don't know about your area, but there are a TON of Addies and Abbies around my area. Not sure if that would bother you or not.
Grace is very pretty!
