I am roughly 6 weeks pregnant. I am not that far along, obviously, but my fiance and I have already began the search for names! So far, for a boy, we have come up with Joshua Lee William. Yes, two middle names. We have also considered Anthony Lee William. We are not entirely sure which of those we will go with. But that is not our problem! Our problem is coming up with a female name that we BOTH agree on.
Before I even became pregnant, we both loved the name Anicka Sue (pronounced Anne-uh-kuh). However, once I became pregnant, my family started shooting names at me. They turned down Anicka completely. They did not change how I felt about the name, they just gave me more to think about. So far, I really like the name Emily Sue, and Natalie Sue. My fiance, on the other hand, is still for Anicka. He is still open to suggestions, though. So am I!
I would appreciate any advice on the situation, and even baby name ideas for either/or boy/girl. Thank you!
I agree, my cousin has a girl named Ahneke (Anicka spelt the Dutch way) And even when some family members made negative comments, they did what was right for them, and now she couldn't be any cuter, and couldn't fit her name any better! Kids grow into whatever name you give them. Do what is best for you! If you really want to please your family here are some other names I think fit your style:
