I have met some interesting people, I know at least 2 older men named Harry Dyck... I also met a kid named Achilles Odeon. I just found that really strange... their last name was something like Bumlicker so there wasn't any hope of this child not being teased in the first place.

Also Abcdef. Pronounced Ab-seh-def.

So sad. So sad...

I heard of someone named Mr. With the period after the name.
I have heard Twinkie, Sparkle, Liberty, Esperanza, and then the names like Pirate for a boy.

I don't post in this forum a lot, but I knew a guy whose daughter was named.. and I kid you not...

Hannah Fannah Copa Cabana Margaret Mary Katherine H****

She's a teenager now and they call her Hannah, but those names are all on her birth certificate. Most of them (except for the Copa Cabana thing) are ok, but ridiculous altogether.

What is wrong with Esperanza? It is fairly common where I live, has a nice meaning, is legitimate and doesn't sound unpleasant to me.

I was shopping in Target a while back and heard a mother calling after her little girl (who appeared to be about 3 or so) "Lingerie! Lingerie get back over here!" Is this kid supposed to grow up to be a stripper?

A school age friend just had their 3rd. They're super religious and named him Baptist. It's not the worse...but I just can't see that being someone's name their whole life. Pretty bad IMO!!

The worst I ever heard, while it's sort of a nice sentiment, was a girl named Peace, it just must have been hard to live with...

La-a, pronounced La-dash-ah. If you want your kids name to be that just spell it out!
