I like Thea too, it's a possible nickname. But for now I really like Dot as the nickname. DH likes Dora as the nickname.

It is A LOT of name. Very classy however Dot is too far the other direction for me in the fluffy light area I prefer Thea as well.

I think we're probably going with it, to add onto the list. I really love old-fashioned/family names and this definitely fits the bill for us. Plus it uses his Basque ancestry too which he really wanted.

I really love Josephine as a MN. I don't care for Dorothea, tho.

Absolutely love everything but the choice of nickname ;-). That's mostly because I once worked for a really horrid Dot as a teenager.

Nice seeing an offbeat classic instead of more trendy nothings.

I like the combination of the names, it's classy. But with the NN, i think i'd consider Thea, it's sweet and pleasing to the ears.

Not really a fan of Dorothea, much prefer "just" Dot or Dottie as a given name. I actually have a thing for "old-timey nickname-names" so I would just go for Dot Josephine, which I think is so precious!
