My father is very sick, (cancer) and chances are he will never meet this baby. I have decided to name it after him, in hopes I can have the name printed on the ultrasound and give it to him in a few weeks. If it is a girl I am very lost on a name..His name is John. I have Johnette and Johnna but neither of those really jump out at me. I want it to have JOHN in the name, any ideas?

Thank you so much

My first-name is Johnna (although I go by Nana because my eldest brother's name was John) but anyways I'm named for my Grandda who was called John.

What about Johanna? It is Hebrew and means 'God is Gracious'
Hanna(h) would be nice nickname.

I like Johanna as a feminine form of John. Or just Johnnie.
