I don't like children being named after liquor - nms. I like just plain James. Jameson has a great sound but it is liquor nonetheless. Not as bad as baby Chardonnay, but you know what I mean. James and Tyler sound nice together, and James sounds great on its own, and has varying nicknames - Jim seems good and adult, while Jamie is good for a child and an adult. Jamie and Ty.. they sound good to me. Just my opinion, good luck!
Thanks for the insight. I would love to name him "James" but my sister named her son James nn 'Jimmy" and wasnt completely happy with me using James too even if he'd stay as a James and not be shortened. This was one reason we went with Jameson -nm "James" and cause it's cute too!
I like Ryan, too - it was one of our boy names, but it would be a problem with the "Ty" and "Ry." We can't use it anymore, either, because we have a Nolan and I can see everyone saying...."Oh, Nolan Ryan!"
Jameson is my pick!
