Agree. Love it. Adeline is on my short list b/c it's my great grandmothers name. But I feel like Madeline is pretty and Adeline is more frumpy a name. If it doesn't bother you that it's very popular I'd say use it!

I don't feel that's it's overly popular (it's #319 in 2011) but it's my Grandmother's name. I know Madelyn is the more popular spelling, Madelyn is #79.

I know my Gran's name was pronounced more like Mad-uh-leen more than -lyn. That's how they said it at my Grandda's funeral anyways.

I like Madeleine Claire as well

I love it pronounced the way you are saying your Grandmothers was. Very pretty! Grace and Claire are both good, can't go wrong with either!

I like it Mad-uh-leen too, although I like the Mad-uh-lyn pronunciation as well.
