Dorian has a lot of movie/book connotations (to me), but besides that I think it sounds great, and goes well with Penelope. The names have a lyrical feel to them..

IMO, Dorian has a very feminine sound - I picture a very 'delicate' man.

The two names go great together!!! Ian would make a good nickname if you wanted one.

I can't help but think of the book we had to read in high school about the picture that aged. "A Picture of Dorian Grey." But otherwise, it's a fine name. That book was just a little odd for me and I can't help but have the automatic reaction.

Hmmm...maybe it's just me, but Penelope is such a great name I don't feel that Dorian lives up to it? IDK maybe b/c I think Dora right away? It kind of seems gender neutral to me where as Penelope is very girly.

I really like it. For a boy or a girl actually.
