Okay. We already have one son and we didn't name him after my husband. If this baby is a boy, is it right to name him after my husband as a junior? My husband seems to think that you name your first born junior or you don't do it at all..I'm really not sure..Any input??

We were originally going to name this baby a junior if it was a boy but eventually decided not to (just because Michael didn't want to). I don't think it's a big deal, you could just say that the idea didn't occur to you until the second son was conceived.

I personally would not name a second son jr when the first wasn't.

I know quite a few last born sons ( or last planned sons ) that were Jr's. I dont think it really matters personally.
