it's classic, if not a little boring. It was my middle name, and I dropped it later when I got married and I haven't missed it.

Generic middle name. Nothing wrong with it but it would be more exciting if paired with another name (Joanne, Leanne, Rayanne etc). I could see doing it as a first name by itself if it went great with your last name.

I love it. I prefer it spelled Anne though. I plan to name one of my daughters Annemarie!
