We are completely set on the middle name Frank for a boy. Our top boys name currently is Arthur.
Arthur Frank (last name is similar to Warden) ?
I prefer the nickname Artie to Art, but I'm not sure if we'd use those or not. Thoughts? We like English names, that are familiar, traditional, but not top 10 or really common.
Love it! It has the same vibe as old-fashioned now-trendy names like Henry and Oliver without being as common. Good strong boy name. Artie is cute too We have old-fashioned, less-common preferences around here too so I am right there with ya!
I like it alot!!! The older names are coming back, you are staying trending but at the same time picking out a name that it's growing as fast as say Henry.
Its funny that Henry gets mentioned because that is our other choice! I feel like I Love Arthur more, but feel that Henry is safer, so I lean towards that. But Arthur just seems to fit us!
Henry isn't bad either, I like that as well. I just know it's become pretty popular again. My cousin, as well as 2 of my friends have named their babies Henry in the past 6 months.
Arthur sounds great to me. A traditional name which is not as common as some others. Arthur Frank Warden sounds like a distinguished Shakespearean actor!
Arthur is cute, but not a fan of Artie or Art as names at all. Arthur Frank together is very traditional, strong, and older sounding. Will definitely grow with him and sounds very professional.
