I just have to vent. I'm sick and tired of not having a name for this baby. I mean I'm beyond fuming mad I could literally kick this man. We just got into an argument because I had again suggested a couple more names this morning and he said that he would think about one of them. Well that name is a no go, it's every excuse under the sun for why he doesn't like a name.

I'm done, seriously done. He got so mad at me he just said name this baby whatever you want, I know he isn't serious but I freaking will name this baby whatever I want.

It would be helpful if he came up with suggestions but his response to me regarding this was " I don't know what I like I just know what I don't like."

I literally don't know what else to do to agree on a name with this man.

His arse can sleep on the couch tonight, now let me get my blood pressure back down to normal.

Wow! I really sounds like your having a difficult time.
What were the no-go names and maybe we can give more suggestions based on your likes?
Have you considered printing out a varied list...like maybe the top 1000 baby names on the SSA...for both of you and sit down with a highlighter and highlight the ones you like and then see which ones you both highlighted. I think that might make it a more positive experience for you both.

Well I've gone through that whole list myself and read off names I liked to SO. I guess it would work if I printed it and we highlited the ones we like. Now if we just had ink in our printer.

SO hates all of the names above, we were sort of decided upon Nadia at one point but then he said he just wasn't sure and neither was I so it's on the back burner. So far though it's the only name that we have somewhat agreed upon but cannot agree to name this baby that name.

SO said he liked -Sierra- a week ago and so that was going to be her name because I like it as well. He then said he no longer liked it. His reason and I apologize in advance if anyone has a daughter named this - but he said it reminded him of a stripper name.

SO also likes the name Johanna and Joanna. but to me Joanna is to popular and Johanna i'm just not feeling 100%

Ok I really like Savina. That's beautiful. I'm going to make a list of names for SO to go over hopefully sometime today and see where that gets me.
I also like Anya, violetta, and Ivana

A lot of the names above are names I've already suggested or we have family by those names or very similar.

You should tell him to write down some names that he likes. You still have plenty of time before she comes. If you guys could together come up with 5 names, take the list to the hospital with you and maybe after she's born it'll come to both of you.
