Not quite sure though because it was after another little arguement and SO just said we can name her this name.
So i'm not quite sure if it's a good thing or bad thing because of the way it happened.
So the name is
Azura
or
Azzura
So what the opinions here?

OK well to update again. I gave SO 2 baby name sites this morning after asking him if Azura was still a contender or did he just say that so we wouldn't fight anymore. He was hesitant to agree that he wants Azura as a baby name.
It is still my number one name.
He wrote down 6 names.
Briana
Rebecca
Dahlia
Daniella
Camila
Savanna
I like Briana alot however the baby would have first and last initial of BJ. Is that ok in this day and age? I mean in about 7 months my initials are going to be the same and I'm not to excited about it.
I like rebecca but it seems like a very 80s name too me.
Dahlia is a high contender
Daniella I have to say no too because I have a cousin named Daniele and another cousin named Danielle
Camila I like but seems to be in the top 50 for the past few years.
Savanna is nice, that's really all I can say about that name.
ANy more opinions ladies, you guys have been so much help!

My favorite is Camila. You dont have any awful names on your list imo so it sounds like you have a great starting place.

I like Briana too,. but if she will going to be BJ it would not be nice.
Like Camila but slightly common and I like how it is spelled..
Rebecca-don't like much the person I knew with this name
Dahlia-don't like much the person I knew with this name
Daniella-nice but slightly common
Savanna--like this too but I keep on remembering the shoe store with a "SAVANNAH" name.
I love Azura.
how about Chantal. Sheann. Sofia. Adeline.

I so love Acura too but it's a no go now. I'm bothered by it but SO says he doesn't want this to come between us anymore and since he doesn't like Azura whatsoever I've decided to stop pushing it.

I really like all the names on your list!!!
My favs are:
Briana
Dahlia
Savanna
I dont think the initials BJ would be bad - she would have a middle name right? So her initials would be B_J?

My choice would be -- Camila -- it's a little popular (yet I've never met one) but it has plenty of cute nn options.
I like Savannah and Dahlia too.
Wdyt of Delia?

She would have a middle name, but that is undecided as well.
I've updated towards the bottom.

Ok to update all of you awesome ladies again.
Sunday morning when I was going over the list that SO had selected he basically kind of threw a tiny fit. Saying, "I don't really like any of these name I wrote down, I don't think i'm going to like any name at all. Name her Azura etc etc."
This was done when he was upset and I can't go through with naming our baby Azura when he is holding such negative thoughts and feelings regarding the name.
So once again I compromised and told him that we will go back to the orginal name that we had agreed upon weeks ago (but still had agreed to keep looking) and that name is
Nadia
Now the only issue I have with the name is i'm not sure what we can use as a nn. And for us all the kids go by nn's.
Another issue is middle name, Ruth was a contender but SO again said he doesn't like any names and just shrugged his shoulders when it came to the middle name discussion.
I don't really plan on naming this baby after anyone then since SO is so not really caring what the middle name is.
So Nadia now needs a middle name. Technically she will have 2 middle names 1 of which is my last name and then her official last name which is her dads.

You could call Nadia "Nady" or "Dia"
Mns: Rae, Mae, Faye, Lauren, Quinn, Rachel, Renee, Simone, Shea, Paige, Colette, Corinne, Reese, Vivienne, Danielle, Michelle

I really like Nadia Ruth! You could stretch it a bit and do 'Adi' as a nn.

I really like Nadia Renee for some reason. I think I may use that as an option.
I don't think I will be bringing any mn's up to SO though and just give her the middle name that I want. Also I've decided to call her Dia as a nn, well my oldest and I decided, haha.

Ruth is still a contender just because it's one of SO's grandma's names. But we will see I guess, no final decision has been made. Thanks for your help!
