I just randomly had the thought that the name I selected "might" be too close to my name. I always hit a point of questioning my name choices around now...and generally I keep them.
But I wanted opinions on whether my daughters name is too similar to mine. I was going for a family name, which is really heavy in my name as well (I am named for 5 separate people). But I don't want her name to seem redundant. Ya know?
So my name is Ashlee JoAnn
We are planning on naming baby Josephine AnnaLee
Okay? Or should I try for less similar?

Totally fine! I really like that. I wouldn't have even thought it was too close and it's nice that it is somewhat similar.

I don't think it's too close at all! I just wanted to chime in and say I love AnnaLee. Both of those names are family names for us as well and I have been trying to convince DF to let me use it somewhere (plus I love the song by The Band that makes a reference to AnnaLee) but he won't let me
