I really like unisex names and would love to use Mason as a mn for a girl. I have seen it Macyn and loved it. But the more I look at it I feel like its awkward. What spelling would you use? Feel free to add ones that are not on my list.

Mason
Macyn
Masen
Masyn
Maesyn

I personally don't like different spellings for Mason. So the traditional spelling is the way I'd go!

To be honest, I'm really not crazy over Mason for a girl no matter how it is spelled. But if you love it, that's all that matters so in that case, I'd go with Mason. It's masculine, but I don't believe changing the spelling changes that. I really don't like made up spellings at all.

I don't like Mason for a girl at all but if you must use it then I'd say stick with the traditional spelling. The others just look made up. Changing the o to a y does not make it any more feminine, just ugly. There are a FEW names that the y looks nice in but this is definitely not one of them.

Macen. I don't normally like changing spellings to change gender, but I think I would in this case. I do like Mason for a girl

I think I like Maisyn or Maesyn or Macen

I feel like if you use the traditional Mason people will always assume boy.

I would use the traditional spelling, Mason.
I think it's fine as a middle name. I've never been a fan of the name Mason though because when I hear it I cannot stop thinking of a Mason Jar!

It's a mn so I'd just go with the traditional spelling and not worry about people questioning if she's a girl or boy, especially if her first name is obviously female.

Now, if you've got Charlie Mason or Sammy Mason picked out, then yes, I'd make the mn more feminine. I like the Macyn or even Maisyn. I dislike to see a child's full name and I don't know if it's a boy or a girl.
