I know a girl named Aristotle.. and her mom gets SOO upset if you shorten it, its really funny.

A boy I graduated with... his baby was born about 2 weeks ago [was due in September though]... and his dad was telling us at church this past Sunday about him. His name is Alwean. I think that's how you spell it. He was like "A-L like ale 8... W-I-N. No, A-L-W-I-N. No, A-L-W-E-A-N. I think that's how you spell it. It takes some getting used to but I think I'm used to saying it now." *lol*

that could get annoying... trying to remember how to pronounce it everytime you say it

OK I was out and about and heard of TWO weird names today, so I had to come find this thread again.

Both were for girls:

Americus (I found out it is from that story about the baby born in Walmart--I think it's a movie with Natalie Portman)

I honestly really havent heard any names as unusual as your ladies have!! Lol... Jesus I've heard a couple of times but I dont think it is too out of the ordinary
