Choose your childs name based on a profession you wanted them to have?

example: Mariah Carey's mom chose her name because it was "a good stage name"

No. I don't know what my kids will want to be so I wouldn't know what to use anyway.

No, but when I think of names, I do try to think of how they might sound as an adult in a serious profession, like a judge. So I would avoid a name like Rainbow for example, because the Honorable Rainbow So-and-so sounds silly.

No, because how are you supposed to know exactly what your child wants to do (unless you force/push something on them).

No, thats so silly!!!!!!!!

I don't take into consideration how the name is going to sound in 20, 30 years because in all reality one day we are all going to grow up and be professionals, be grandparents, etc... so Grandma Cathy and Grandma Brintney are going to be the same thing and Judge Judy and Judge Ashley are going to be the same thing.... the name will grow with the person and with the time. I think its so silly for someone to say "I'd never name my kid _______ because it wouldn't sound good if they were a lawyer, judge, etc (anything professional)" or stereotype a name. It just bugs me, but thats my personal opinion... no big deal!!!
