If we have a girl, we would like to give her the middle name Barbara to honor a family member but we are finding that it is really hard to find a first name that sounds good with it!! Are there any suggestions?

That is kinda a tough one. . . For some reason Barbara keeps feeling like it needs to go first with most names I try.

Here are some ideas though:

Harper Barbara
Hazel Barbara
Finley Barbara
Lillian Barbara
Aubrey Barbara

What kinds of names do you typically like?

Lexi Barbera
Emma Barbera

With a longer middle name I'd choose a shorter first name

Maybe a one syllable first name

Ann Barbara
Jade Barbara
Rose Barbara

I agree with the above poster that Barbara always sounds like it should be the first name..... There are a number of people I know who are called by their second name, so you could make Barbara the first name but call the child by her second name.
