We just found out that our baby on the way is a girl. Our daughter's name is Eleanor Rose (her middle name is from DH's grandmother's name). We're thinking we may use Cate as a middle name for this baby, loosely after my grandmother. Some of the first names we've been tossing around are:

Josephine
Violet
Jocelyn
Louisa
Lucinda
Vivian

We tend to go toward more 'old-fashioned' names, and we like there to be a nickname (although we never really use Nora, our intended nickname for our daughter). I'd be really grateful for any thoughts on our list or suggestions of names we may not have thought of.

I like Josephine the best out of your list, but I think Jocelyn sounds the best with Cate as a MN.

Thanks for all the input So far DH is liking Josephine best, so I guess that is the frontrunner at the moment. We are still thinking hard about Lucinda and Louisa. And we really like some of the suggestions, especially Hattie as a nickname for Harriet.
