How would you pronounce Jocelyn? We're leaning toward that name but people keep mispronouncing it.

I have always said it Joss-lyn. I knew a girl in HS who pronounced it that way. So I tend to always do so. I can see Joss-e-lyn too.

I pronounce it Joss-eh-lyn. However, Jocelyn is just one of those names that everyone has their own pronunciation for, so half the people who say the name will get it 'wrong'.

I think most people would take the easy way out and say Jos - lin, but some people might start shortening her name to Jos?

No, you are wrong, I'm french. It's pronounced Joss-lin not Joss-leen... Same as Mari-lin, not Mari-leen.

Thanks everyone. We're wanting the 3 syllable Joss - uh - lynn

Thinking of spelling it Josalyn or Jossalyn. Not sure I want to mess with the spelling but I hate all the mispronunciations.
