Do they sound weird together? Too rhymey?

My daughter's name is Josephine Lee

New baby would be Evangeline Lee.

Too matchy?

Our family uses Lee for all girl middle names, so that is non-negotiable.

Its the double "ine" thats throwing me off

First off I LOVE the name Evangeline. If we were having a girl she would have been Evangeline Joelle. So I am so jealous you get to use the name!

I personally Didn't want the first name to match with the middle name. But if you really love that name and Lee will be the middle name regardless I think it would be fine. I mean she wouldn't go around saying my name is Evangeline Lee. It would just be Evangeline. So I say go for it if you really like it!

Its a little too matchy for my taste, however.. if you were to use nicknames like Jo and Evie or something it would take away from the similar endings. I just think it would be too much to call them in from the playground by their full first names, if that makes sense.

No No, they would be Jo and Eva. Only Josephine and Evangeline when they are in trouble.

Well... if they USUALLY will be Jo and Eva (which I love, by the way, even the longer versions are beautiful names), there is no matching at all! I get what you mean by the "ine" ending with both names, but I bet for most of their lives in the "real world" they won't be in the same groups (age differences and such) and thus each name will be unique to each one.

I think since you are using nicknames, that it works perfectly!

I don't think their nick names are too matchy, but I feel their full names are....

Both are beautiful names, just too similar for my taste

I think they are far too matchy Non-matchy nicknames don't change that their names are almost the same...

Thank you, Jaidynsmum, for the amazing siggy

I think they are matchy but like someone else said, most of their lives they will be individuals not a sib set. That with nicknames. I think you are fine
